Early-access terms
Draft. This is a plain-language placeholder written before legal review. It sets out the spirit of the early-access program and will be replaced by reviewed terms before a wider launch.
Kinforge Labs is an independent project built by two siblings. It is not yet a registered company. These terms cover taking part in the early-access program.
What early access is
Early access is a small, invite-only trial of a voice companion for children that is still being built. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the service may be paused at any time. Please treat it as a prototype, not a finished product.
Who can take part
Accounts are for adults. A parent or guardian creates the account, sets up each child, and is responsible for how the child uses it. Children should use the companion only with their parent or guardian’s permission.
An AI, not a person
The companion is an AI. It can be wrong, misunderstand what was said, or give an answer that isn’t right for your child. It is not a replacement for a parent, teacher, doctor or any other professional, and it should not be relied on for medical, safety, legal or emergency matters.
Using it kindly
Please don’t try to make the companion produce harmful content, get around its safety checks, or access other families’ information. We may end access for anyone who does.
Cost
Early access currently comes with usage credits so adults can see how time is spent. Pricing for later is not set. We won’t charge you without telling you clearly first and getting your agreement.
Feedback
We’d love to hear what works and what doesn’t. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve the product without owing you anything for them.
Your information
How we handle information, including children’s conversations, is described in our privacy notice.
Leaving
You can stop at any time. Email hello@kinforgelabs.xyz if you’d like your account and your children’s information deleted.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the program develops and will let early-access families know about meaningful changes. Questions are welcome at hello@kinforgelabs.xyz.
